18th birthday: Paris
20th birthday: Russian restaurant party
21st birthday: Atlantic City
16th birthday: Party
Of course, Alex always got more stuff because he had joint birthday parties with Dad, so it all evens out.
My aunt and uncle are celebrating their 30th anniversary in a Ukrainian restaurant in Rochester one of the weekends around January 30th, and they asked if I wanted to do a joint party with them for my 20th. It'll be expensive, but I really really want to, so I told my parents yes but on the condition they don't give me Hanukkah, New Year's, or birthday money. (Those three together this year would come to $300-$350, I believe, so I'm covering a chunk of what this party will cost.) I can also bring some friends with me - we can take 4 in our van, and/or I can invite people in Rochester.. not sure what I'm gonna do yet. But I gotta figure out who'd be able to come with me and would want to.
Mmh. So excited!
