Holy crap.

I have almost nothing to do this weekend. I've done most of my work; I just have a bit of writing for a couple classes, and my Russian teacher will probably assign something small. Other than that, nothing. (School-related.)

Being on the ball ROCKS! Of course, it means I don't do much that's fun during the week, but that's what weekends are for.

Also, the chair of the CS department was telling me about an internship this spring with the police computer forensics department that would be killer for my job prospects, especially considering I'd have security clearance all set and tidy-like. The only problem is that I'm taking such a heavy courseload this spring, and I will probably still not have my weekends free, that I might not have time for it.

But I might try anyway..

(BTW, it's unpaid. ;_;)

DIRECTIONS: Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions. Include this explanation. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.

1) If hell were a room in a house you owned, what would you furnish it with?

Torture implements, remains of tortured peoples/cute things, red walls, fires, its own heating system (gotta be hot, but don't want to fuck the rest of the house up), soundproof walls, stain-absorbing carpet, cameras (gotta make money, yo - cover the heat and all). Giant penises that would rip people in half.

2) Where will you be 15 minutes from when you reply to this? Feel free to correct yourself if you turn out to be wrong.

Getting gas for the drive up tomorrow.

3) What is love?

That is a very good question. I'm going to assume you're talking about man-woman love, not other forms, to narrow it down. It's desire, comfort (in some way or another), hope. Routine. I don't think it's what people think it is - I think it's just a combination of things that are a lot more mundane than the glorified concept of love. And also very difficult to describe.

4) If you didn't have to clean or feed an animal, would you choose to own one and what animal would it be?

Probably a cat. :) I dunno; I like cute little cats.

5) When does a person become an adult? (Event or time is accepted)

Never. Absolutely never. I think most people don't become adults. I mean, legally speaking, in the United States, when you turn 18 or emancipate yourself (or rather, have a court emancipate you) from your parents. But really? I don't think anyone, or at least very few people, ever really grow up. People retain their childish ways of thinking and feeling, but they're forced into positions where they change a bit - they develop, anyway, if not change. I think people die kids, though; few, if any, people really gain the wisdom that life "should" impart.
